Southern Celebration was officially founded in 2017 by the lead coordinator, Katy. I am an experienced wedding planner based in Alabama who is passionate about creating unforgettable weddings. I believe that every wedding is unique and should reflect the personality and style of the couple. I am dedicated to providing personalized service to ensure that your wedding is everything you’ve ever dreamed of.
I started my love for weddings with my first job in a formal store and countless hours scrolling Pinterest way before I had
my first boyfriend. Once I planned my wedding, I became addicted to the endorphins I received seeing something go from a simple idea to the reality of enjoying the most important day of a couple's life!
I discovered my love of wedding coordination planning my own wedding then confirmed that this is a career I want to pursue while helping my sister and best friend plan their wedding. I booked my first official client 5 years ago and have continued to help couples execute their wedding vision ever since. I am passionate about continuing to further my knowledge of the wedding industry, trends, and "hacks." I cannot wait to use my expertise to get you down the aisle and into the after party!
